Susan Benedict PLLC is pleased to announce that Attorneys Elizabeth L. Luckenbach, Sara B. Rubino, and Juliet R. Boyd have joined the firm’s Troy office.
Elizabeth L. Luckenbach joins the firm as a Member. She focuses her practice on estate planning and administration, with an emphasis in probate litigation, special needs planning and elder law. She is a Past President of the Wayne County Probate Bar Association, a Director of the Oakland County Bar Association and a Past President and current Trustee of the Oakland County Bar Foundation. Ms. Luckenbach is an author and frequent speaker on topics such as elder law, special needs planning, and estate planning probate and probate litigation. She previously taught as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. In 2013, Ms. Luckenbach was featured in the Michigan Lawyers Weekly “Women in the Law,” and is currently recognized in Michigan Super Lawyers and Best Lawyers in America for Estate and Trust Litigation. Ms. Luckenbach received her B.A. from Michigan State University and her J.D. from DePaul University College of Law.
Sara B. Rubino joins the firm as a Member. She focuses her practice on probate litigation and estate planning, with an emphasis on elder law and special needs planning. Ms. Rubino is a frequent speaker and author on probate related topics such as guardianships, fiduciary disputes, estate administration and trust contests. Ms. Rubino is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and is extremely active in the local Oakland County Bar Association, serving on its Membership Committee, New Lawyers Board and as a Barrister for the Inns of Court. She is recognized as a leader in her field by Michigan Super Lawyers “Rising Stars”. Ms. Rubino received her B.A. from Central Michigan University and her J.D. from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law.
Juliet R. Boyd joins the firm as an Associate. She focuses her practice in the area of probate litigation. She was previously an intern for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Michigan. She is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and is a trained and certified mediator. Ms. Boyd received her B.A. from Wayne State University and her J.D. from Michigan State University College of Law.
